Anubi developed an independent CGI spec ad for the PS5 DualSense controller, revealing its shape, materials and details through light and composition.
For this independent concept, we developed a CGI spec ad for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) DualSense wireless controller. The project was not commissioned by or affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment; it was created as a creative exercise to explore the product’s design through a cinematic reveal.
The film progressively unveils the controller against a black background, moving between silhouettes, illuminated profiles and close-ups of the D-pad and analog sticks. Blue light, composition and motion direct attention to its shape, ergonomic lines, materials and details. The sequence culminates in a controller form built from glowing PlayStation symbols, connecting the product’s visual language to its identity.
