Want to add a 3D product to a shot or change a scene you’ve already filmed? Anubi creates visual effects and handles compositing, which combines footage and digital elements in the same image. We work with agencies and production companies in Milan, including remotely.

A product added in 3D needs to match the scene’s perspective, lighting and shadows. When the camera moves, it needs to stay in the right place. When someone walks in front of it, they need to obscure it naturally.

We review the footage to work out what’s needed. A plain background involves different work from moving hair, glass and reflections.

Send us the edit or the shots you want to change, noting the point in the video and the effect you want. Include any available original files and a reference image of the result you have in mind.

To add a product, we also need 3D models or photos, finish references and packaging artwork. If you have a shot of the empty background, send that too: it can help us remove or replace an element.

For MINE Beauty, with Freeda, we made a film that places a giant product in the city. It’s FOOH, or fake out-of-home advertising: an ad that looks like live footage, with digital elements added to the shot.

We prepare tests using the shots we’ll work on. We review the sequence at normal speed to correct edges, reflections and movement that a single image won’t reveal.

Your notes can point to an exact moment in the video so we know where to make changes. We then finish the scenes and prepare files for the edit or final film, as agreed.

We also assess AI tools for tasks such as removals and masks. The choice depends on the footage and the quality of the full sequence.
