Independent CGI film
This is an independent CGI spec ad inspired by the Hublot Big Bang collection. It was not commissioned by Hublot and does not imply any affiliation with the brand. Anubi developed the concept, art direction, 3D animation and sound design.
The final film runs for 42 seconds and moves from macro views of the dial, case and bracelet to a full view of the watch. Monochrome lighting, glass, crystals, fluids and particles shape a visual study of its surfaces and mechanics.
Styleframes and visual direction
The styleframes establish an almost monochrome visual language, with black backgrounds, silver metal and red accents on the dial. The framing moves from clasp and glass details to a full view of the watch.
Process and R&D
The development phase documents animatics, material studies and simulations: the clasp logo, skeleton dial, front glass, crystal collisions and particles. The loops shown are silent R&D sequences used to validate motion, lighting and composition.
